In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.

We are the people who adopted “Caesar” about 3 months ago.  (His name is now Casey)
Remember him?  He had fought with his brother and to be honest, we chose him because
when we met you, he was the only pup who had vomited in the van on the way.

He is a different dog than we met months ago… When he got to our house and to our
fenced back yard, he just couldn’t contain himself with running after lizards and
jumping everywhere.  He still can’t.  We soon realized that he had never climbed
stairs, or had been given a treat or had “peed” on a walk with a leash.  Now he zips
up the stairs, marks his territory …but still sniffs anything that is not his
regular kibble.

He was shy and reticent.  Now his little tail is always like a windshield wiper.
But here is the big lesson for us.  He had definite “separation anxiety” in that he
would howl even if we left the room.  We would go to take a shower and would have to
run back downstairs because we thought his little heart was breaking.  FORGET GOING
OUT.  COULDN’T DO IT.  And it just broke our hearts.  We would try to break him of
this by saying goodbye…walking to the front of the house…counting 30 seconds off and
then going back in and saying hello again.  Who know if this worked, but slowly, he
now knows that he is part of us and that we will always come back.

We take him everywhere with us and he is just great in public places.  He is SUPER
around other people  We often take him to two retirement centers and he just loves
people to pet him and he stands there and “looks pretty”.

You have change his life and our lives and we tell everyone we can that rescuing a
dog is one of the most rewarding things one can do.  (and there are misconceptions
out there.)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

WE ARE SUCH BELIEVERS IN WHAT YOU DO!!!

If you ever need a testimonial.  Look no further!
