Astro now warmly welcomes strangers but is best with
adults only and no other pets.  Sadly I don't know his history from before I rescued
him, but I can vouch for experiences I've had with him.  He loves to ride in the
car.  He has been fishing with us and didn't once try to jump off the boat and into
the water.  He will willingly play and come over for affection, but when he's
resting prefers to be left alone.  That's where the baby just doesn't understand him
yet.  He seems needy in the sense that he was my baby before Emily came along and
for five years he had my undivided attention.  He seems to want that type of
attention again.  I do what I can when she's napping, but with other kids now coming
over and our home not as quiet as before, he seems to want to get in the middle of
what can only be called chaos sometimes to get my attention and I cannot always give
it to him.  I've attached a picture and would gladly accept emails of interested
parties.  His estimated age is 9.
