Dear Ms.Carol,
We just wanted to write you and give you and update on Buddy Cash(formerly Junior.)
He has truly been a blessing for Chris and me! We want to thank you for giving us
the opportunity to adopt such a terrific dog and friend.

He has adapted so well to his new home andSunny(our yellow lab) and him have become
the best of friends. They are like peas and carrots!!!! They play so well together
and sleep side by side usually on the same bed(even though they have their own
downstairs and upstairs!) Buddy loves to eat and has quickly learned the word
"Dinnertime"-when he hears it, he starts running around, jumping and wagging his
tail so fast!

We quickly figured out that he loves Christmas time and he got VERY familiar with
our Christmas trees. He loved the ornaments and thought they were balls for him to
play with. He loved the ribbon on there, too.  Our friends and family also adore
him!!! We named him Buddy Cash after Johnny Cash because he is so black---I also
tell him to "Walk the LINE" because he can get into a LITTLE bit of trouble at
times--He is so funny--and he has such a great spunky personality!!!!! We could not
have chosen a dog any more suited for us!!!

He has really given us a sense of peace after losing our other black cocker of 14
years to cancer. He looks so much like him and has his same mannerisms and for that
we are so greatful. It is like he has his same spirit! He has had some pretty big
shoes to fill and so far he has done his job!!!!!

He is getting over an ear infection and is doing well---we all know that cockers are
known for those. Our vetenarian said he looks great and has a gorgeous coat.
Everywhere we go people compliment him on how beautiful he is. We tell them we
rescued him from you--hoping that we can get others to rescue. It is such a good
feeling to know that we rescued him from such a terrific organization---We want you
to know that we appreciate all you do for these precious canines and it has been a
priviledge adopting such a special friend from you all! I will try to send pictures
