In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.

Lily is doing great. She's a terrific traveler; very smart and observant; probably lived in a house before, because she seems to be housebroken and almost knows "sit." She's happy, outgoing, and unafraid. She and Tux haven't even had a harsh word (yet!). We gave her a red terrycloth "dachsund" squeaky toy, and she flips it around and snorts after it. Right from the first night, she has slept on my husband's bed (which is fine, because Tux prefers to sleep with me). Attached photos: I took the first two on Sunday as we traveled toward Tallahassee in the motor home. You'll get a kick out of the first one, in which her tongue is up over her nose.... the second one shows the conviviality between the two dogs. I took the last two just a few minutes ago in our dining room. More later, Nancy
