Dennis is a 4-year-old neutered male Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix who came to FCSR after we pulled him from a shelter post-surgery, when they requested a rescue foster him until he was healed enough for adoption. He had arrived there with a broken leg and underwent surgery with a plate and six screws. Dennis has healed beautifully and is now ready for his forever home. His adopters will receive full medical records, including vaccinations, neuter, microchip, and leg surgery notes.
Dennis is an energetic, playful, and happy little dog who loves being by your side. He enjoys cuddle time, will happily sleep at the foot of your bed (or on the floor if you prefer), and gets along well with the dogs and cat in his foster home. He loves toys—especially his ball, rope bone, and squeaky bone—and will fetch them eagerly. A fenced yard (the bigger the better) and another playful dog would be ideal for him. He also enjoys walks, moving quickly between his favorite sniffing spots.
Dennis isn’t a picky eater, loves treats, takes medication easily, and is housebroken with a routine. He even mastered the doggie door at his foster home. With his joyful spirit and affectionate nature, Dennis is ready to bring endless fun and companionship to his new family.
